Ashland Wisc. mourns the death of a squirrel today. Poor thing. In an unlikely mishap the small furry creature was electrocuted by a transformer and sufferred instant death.
Of course, this isn't how the papers describe it. In the hunt for "real news" all they can come up with is some poor sap caught in an elevator who was CONVINCED he was going to die. Rodney Johnson is reported to have suffered in the belief that he "wouldn't make it to Thanksgiving" as he waited for assistance. Has the man never flown American Airlines? No word on the squirrels family or next of kin.
